Its a dream come true, my own art space (besides my kitchen table), YAY! I chose to share it with my sister Kristi Lauren, who is an amazing artist (image to the right) That picture was taken at the Urban Art Gallery during the craft bazaar we participated in. Anyways, we will be in our studio often, creating away. Today, I was there playing around with some photo transfer techniques (image gallery below). I am using a gel medium on laser copies of my own photography work, then also painted a background on canvas to glue it to… I will update this post with more pictures of the process as I go along. Our studio space is located in the Utah Arts Hub building 🙂
I also made more bottles for my “Moonlighter” Aroma Spray… its absolutely lovely. Right now you can find them locally at the Urban Art Gallery at the Gateway Mall. It is antibacterial and mostly smells like cloves and cinnamon. I like to spray it on everything, but mostly my pillows at night, mmmmm.
The photos in the gallery below show the photo transfer process (in order) ..

I’ve also been working on mermaids! Here is the painting in process: (the painting is not done yet)
Here is another multimedia mermaid painting that I did at Sketch Sundays (below). For this painting, I used rice paper, silver tape, gold leafing and acrylic paint.
