This will be my first booth ever in an art festival, and I am super excited!! It will also be the first time I will be displaying my fine art… so I am a little nervous to see what people think of it. The subjects of my paintings are usually things that I love personally,  inspired from trips I have taken, or moments in my life. My recent Buddha series was inspired from a recent visit with my brother in Seattle. They have been so much fun to paint!

Several people have thought that a lot of my photography work are also paintings… I didn’t realize that until the previous RAWartist show that I participated in. Although, I can photograph and create more “vanilla” style images (which are the ones that sell, lol) It has always been important to me to shoot more artsy photography. I put my soul into my work, and I see my soul in the final image. Being an artist is definitely a brave path, as it does not always pay well, but takes a lot of money to create.  In most of my photography work, what you are seeing is a single moment, created by several people using their talents & life experience, fueled by artistic passion  (models, artists, makeup, wardrobe,  hair stylists, etc). I have been so fortunate to have amazing,  and talented friends that have come together with me in these artistic collaborations! Would like to give special thanks to my husband Todd Keith and wicked talented friends Chaunsey L. Hildebrandt, and Andrea Hansen (Pretty Macabre), XOXOXO.

Several originals and prints will be available, as well as a few decks of my Oracle Tarot cards. Hope to see you there!

Update:

It was a great experience, and an awesome event! Of course I put way more money into it than I got back – but I imagine it can always take a while to make back $ from the initial investment… now we are set up for future shows. There was a lot of interest in my paintings, but I probably priced them too high ($1200-$2700). Several of them have sentimental value, so I didn’t want to sell them anyways, lol. Maybe in the future, I will try to create some original paintings that I can stand to mark down to lower prices.

Here are a couple photos of our booth:
