I may post some tips and tricks / techniques, tutorials along with *some* of the images… other images can be used just for inspiration.
Old Lady Makeup…
Old Lady Makeup: I started with a quality base foundation makeup, so that it would help this all to stay on all day/night. Next, I drew the lines with a brown eyeliner pencil, which generally you try to stick with natural smile, wrinkle lines. The key to making it look great is to blend, Blend, BLEND!! Use light makeup powder to create highlights and a lighter base or concealer makeup on the (other) edge of dark lines to make them stand out. Also use brown eye shadow to help with darker areas and blending eye shadow lines. For the eyebrows, I used professional body paint and black eyeliner, but you could use a white eye liner pencil for the white. There are plenty of tutorials on you tube… that is where I learned to do it 😉
Zombie Makeup: Toilet paper and latex are used to create wounds, and then I airbrush the deadly skin color. After that, the wounds are treated with grease paint and a special blood recipe. There are also a ton of zombie makeup tutorials on you tube… make sure you watch a few if you attempt to do it.
This costume won my daughter first place for Halloween costume at her elementary school! The flowers are nicer flowers from our local craft store, made into flower clips and attached to a head band. The dress was a great deal, and bought from eBay (probably under pageant dresses), also including some flower clips attached to the waist line. For the makeup, I airbrushed her face white and then painted with black. I always use professional grade body paint, which comes off very easily with soap and water.
